Hi Michael - 

FYI, below is a link to a Mountain Democrat article on three national awards that the Wrights and Dark Lake Fire Safe Council and the Forest Service received at the National Forest Homeowners Association conference in Pasadena on May 3.  

 

The James Sauser Recreational Advocate of the Year award which recognizes an outstanding USFS employee each year was presented to Dionne Uzes, our Pacific District Ranger.  We were pleased that Dionne was able to travel to the conference to receive it.
