Take-aways and Slides
Every time we go to an area that hasn't seen NFH for awhile, the entire
community gets collectively wiser and more knowledgeable about the cabin
program and the challenges and rewards we share. 
Thank you to our Boulder attendees (photo at left) who came up to us and
told us how much they appreciated this afternoon forum. Here are some
take-aways:
 - NFH is working on national program advocacy - preserving permit-holder
rights, building partnership with key agency leadership, ensuring the cabin
program's future and speaking up for cabin owners.
 - Many Forest Service staff are performing multiple tasks, while caring for
the land and serving people. By supporting their positive efforts, we can
see improved response from the agency. Retained fees beginning in 2025
should help.
 - Fire and natural disasters are a threat to cabins and to program
longevity. NFH is introducing legislation called the Cabin Program
Restoration Act (CPRA) that addresses both program sustainability and permit
holder rights.
You can help NFH help the cabin program by supporting CPRA! Preserve cabins,
permit holder rights, and this unique special uses program on our National
Forests!
